Investiture ceremony for Daisy's!

All Girl Scouts must take part in an investiture ceremony to be considered a Girl Scout. Here is Seraphina's ceremony and as you can see she is excited. As a life time Girl Scout I was as well.

Prior to her ceremony. This is the last time she would wear her uniform without the Daisy blue circle which signifies that she knows and understands the Girl Scout promise.

This cake was made by our friend Michelle Clemens, her daughter Kat is one of Seraphina's closest friends, she is also in ballet with Pheenie.

Ready for the colors

The Junior scouts must do a re-dedication ceremony in order to lead our girls in theirs. The woman in the yellow is Miss Samantha she is the leader of our troop.

Getting ready to start. Anyone who knows Seraphina will recognize the wringing hands as a sure sign that she is very nervous.

Getting ready to start....

On my honor I will try, to serve God, my country, to help people at all times and to live by the Girl Scout Law.

Done and now officially a Girl Scout.

Looking at her Daisy which holds the two badges she received.

Did you see me Mama?

Seraphina and Kat after the ceremony.

This is their Daisy tree. Each girl had to make a paper doll of themselves at our first meeting and today they were each dressed as Daisy's. Seraphina's is the first one on the very last row.

Snack time. Pheenie, Kat and Katherine's brother Zach enjoy the feast.

Beautiful. She may have been nervous, but she looked happy and calm. Congratulations Seraphina!
