Birthday Party

Seraphina had a princess party for her 4th birthday and though it was hot and she was sun burnt (I never forget sunscreen I still don't know how I could possibly have spaced on it) she still had a good time. Sam had not been feeling well in the morning (the heat from Sat. mixed with not drinking anything all day for reasons known only to him) but recovered a little in time for the party. We had a great time and as always appreciate that our family is willing to make the journey down to the house for the kids.

This dress was a gift from Sam I will definitely take pictures of her in it as this picture just doesn't show how pretty it is. She was dressed as Belle all day you can see the burn here.

Sam reading her a card and then giving Grandpa a back scratching.

Opening her Snow White costume from Goo Bobby and Aunt Sara (pics will follow here too) and belly dancing in the gift Daddy sent from Iraq.

Sam looks on as she opens a gift and getting ready to eat the gorgeous cake that Grandma made.

Prior to blowing out the candles the "doll" is actually the cake. We also made our own sundaes and as you can see she was very proud of hers.

Pheenie decided she would rather do crafts then games and we all had fun crafting except Grandpa who doesn't do crafts. Goo Bobby showing off his princess lips.

The wax lips were a funny favor she picked and we all had fun being silly with them.

Goo Bobby giving Grandma a fat lip and Sam trying to keep his on with a couple of wiggly teeth.

Hot and tired. Aunt Sara blows a kiss.

These are out of order the first is posing with the cake the 2nd is seeing it for the 1st time.

Grandma and Grandpa gave her a brand new playground and she and Sam are helping everyone put it together. Someday it will be completed and we will post pictures of her trying it out but the directions are very poorly done so we are still working on construction.

Trying to figure out what the heck the instructions are trying to say. Seraphina wearing her lips. We had a good time and she really enjoyed her party!
