Storybookland 2010

We always try to make at least one trip to Storybook Land each year. This year we went a little earlier then usual as the weather has been so nice and they have a deal for military families. We had so much fun. Jeff and I were discussing how sad we will be when the kids no longer think this park is great and we think from looking at some of the pictures we don't have much time left
before Sammy is there.

This is the 2009 picture
This is the 2010 picture you can see how much they have grown in the last 9 months. The lighting was bad so it is a little bleached out. My eyes are also closed, sorry.
Below are some random pictures from the day
Seraphina has never been on a roller coaster and Jeff was trying to get her picture but she was scared to death. I don't think either of our kids will like roller coasters. You can see her blond hair in the wind next to me.
Angry driver Pheenie
Getting a drink from the lions mouth
We do this series of pictures every year. For the 1st time Sam did not need to be held up to reach his head in

Sam not excited about the carousel
Pheenie just looking cute

Pheenie usually insists on being held but this time she went alone. Daddy is making a silly face
Pheenie LOVES pigs this is the 3 little pigs house.
Mary's little lamb, this poor guy was so hot he really needs his hair cut
This is a big deal. Sam is usually terrified of heights so the ferris wheel is usually not something he goes on. The pictures of Pheenie and I were taken from Jeff and Sam's pot.

This is goosey gander and boy did this guy want to take a piece out of Jeff. He didn't care about the kids or me but he was actually hissing at Jeff. It was pretty funny.
The kids on the train.
Pheenie and I on the rockin' tug boat. We were Sig and Edgar and Sam and Jeff were Jonathon and Andy (from Deadliest Catch if you didn't know)
Sam wasn't that excited about this ride but he was fascinated with figuring out how it worked. He spent more time looking at the mechanics then riding the dragons.

This is me and the kids waiting for the candycane express (the ride in the 1st pictures) we were singing a song and Jeff must have snapped a picture.

I remember seeing your pictures from storybook land last year, and what a good time you had. Maybe this year we will be able to go. I LOVE seeing the pics of you guys enjoying a day together and being silly. It makes me smile.
