March for Babies!

It was a rainy and cold day on the boardwalk but we still had such a good time and most importantly we raised 1000 dollars for the March of Dimes! Thank you so much to everyone who helped out with donations. Hopefully there will come a day when all babies are born healthy and there will no longer be a need for walks like these but until that day we will keep walking.

At registration. It was really cold and Pheenie wasn't feeling well so Daddy pulled her in the wagon.

Getting started.

This is how Pheenie went down the boardwalk. The princess is as always getting the royal treatment!

Just one of the babies that we walk for. This is Ben if you don't know his story you should really check out his blog. We are trying to convince Katherine to write a book because they are amazing and the world should know it! Jeff is adding as an inside joke to Katherine "Ben looks great!" Check them out: http://www.davekatherinebenjamin.blogspot.com/

Walking in the rain. They cut it short because it was so cold and wet. Instead of the 4 miles we only did 1 but we are making plans to go back May 15th and have a picnic and go for a nice long walk. We may even force Jeff to wear the turquoise shirt again. Turquoise is the color for CDH awareness and Jeff was reluctant to wear it. We all have it on but it's hard to see under all the bundles.

Not sure why this guy was here but the kids thought it was cool and with the Scottish lineage we figured we would take a picture with the bagpiper.

At lunch after, you can see the turquoise shirts here. The kids were hanging spoons from their noses, I still hold the record for the longest time but as usual I avoid the camera.

Sam checking out Pheenie's technique.
