Happy Birthday Jeff!

So I have a lot of pictures and I didn't put them on here, I am sorry. I kept meaning to do it and then got sidetracked with something else. So now I am breaking them into a few entries. The first is decorating our house and Jeff's birthday. As you can see we also had a big snow storm in there which made part of the holiday stuff tougher to do then it usually is. Then there are pictures from Yule, which we had this year with just the four of us. Finally there are Christmas pictures which was at Grandma and Grandpa's house as always. We had so much fun with the family and wish that there was more time to spend together throughout the year. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures as much as we enjoyed being there and taking them.

This is a gift to Jeff from his Dad.It was made to model the traditional Viking helmets and as you can see it was a big hit. Of course the kids had to wear it also, but I refrained from doing so as it is made of leather.

The snow storm. This is about half way through and if you look you can still see the fire pit and bench that we use for outdoor ritual. It's a really good thing we have always done the Yule ritual indoors because there is no way we would have been able to start a fire in there. By the time the storm stopped you couldn't even see it. We ended up with 27 inches by the end of the storm which lasted just under 9 hours.

The kids decorated for Daddy and found these glasses left over in the birthday box from Sam's pinata and as you can see we had a lot of fun with them. I love Pheenie's face in this 1st picture.

Gifts and cards for Daddy and lots of laughter

Everybody loves the birthday guy

More silly glasses and the cake the kids decorated

The end of the day eating candy and reading books
