Silly tea party

The kids were having a tea party after school today and we got a new camera in hopes of posting video here for Jeff as well as the family. It's a bit dark as I had literally just put the batteries in and hadn't read the manual yet but the silliness is too cute not to share. Seraphina's favorite part is when I say "now you really have a wet foot" and Sam's favorite is when she spills the cup, but my favorite is "thank you Mama" because it's still the sweetest sound I've ever heard.

We also had a visitor in the backyard today and got some pictures of it. If you don't know already the kids went with Jeff and made build-a-bear dolls that all play the same tune. The idea being they will push the button before going to bed each night and share the goodnight (yes we know the time difference but that isn't really the point, it's more about the connection they will feel) Jeff made a groundhog and named him Punchy. As you can imagine when this little one showed up in the yard the kids were gleeful that "punchy" was out back. The one with the squirrel jumping over it is just a neat picture so I thought we would share it.

It's only half done. Jeff put them in up to the dining room right after Christmas then got the call to go and that project became less important. It will get finished when he comes home. :)
