Sam is so smart. Just how smart you ask? Well he got honor roll for the school year and his Terra Nova test results came in and he is performing on a fifth grade level in 2nd grade! Straight A's for the year and a big blue ribbon too!
On Friday Sam got a big surprise in class, it was a belt test day. Though he was nervous and felt unprepared he passed on to the next belt with no problems.
Seraphina's fiance had a birthday party at the bowling alley and here she is with Daddy cheering her ball down the lane.

Big Day for Pheenie!
This series of pictures was taken with Daddy's phone because like big dummy's we forgot the camera. Seraphina has been begging for months to get her ears pierced and finally got Daddy to give in. Here she is being pierced. As you can see she didn't even flinch. She said it didn't hurt she just didn't like the sound and by the way she acted I didn't even know that bothered her.

Big Day for Sammy!
This last one is HUGE! Sam's school had the first talent show in school history and Sam decided he wanted to be in it. He auditioned and was chosen. I was afraid he would be nervous up there all alone but he totally rocked it and the music was a surprise for me, as he did not tell me he was using it when he practiced at home. As you can see we have been trying to have fun with Jeff while he has the days off and though we have had some work too we've managed to get some fun stuff in as well. We are sorry we are not doing better about keeping in touch but openly admit we are being a little selfish right now and just enjoying the time while we can. We hope that you all understand and don't take it personally if we are out having fun and don't answer the phones or email back right away. As always we love you.

I'm glad to see the whole family looking so happy. It's been a whole year since I've seen my baby and her babies looking so happy. I wonder what happened to make such a change? HMMMM could it be the return of some tall and not so dark handsome man like bugz bunny says could be... dad and I couldn't be happier for all of you but don't forget to text us once in a while we got used to hearing from you every day. Sara is right the pictures of you and the kids is beautiful. Tell Sam we are very proud of him for his grades and the show but not surprised. love mom.
Big Milestones Earrings and a Talent Show! They both look so happy, and so do you. Don't feel as though you are being selfish, you are doing what you need to do and that is more then ok. Enjoy every second, as there will never be another summer 2009 and there is not nearly enough time with the people we love.
