Storybook Christmas

I really must apologize for the lack of postings in the New Year. Things have been crazy here and the computer doesn't want to be my friend anymore. It has taken me since 11am today to get just these pictures loaded. They are not in order but I will try to explain what is going on. We had an interesting holiday season and we tried to fill our very little free time with fun activities. For years we've been saying we wanted to go to the Storybook Land holiday events and finally this year we got there. The pictures really could never do justice to the beauty of the thousands of lights but we tried to show you a little of the magic that happens each year when Santa lights up the park. We also took our annual train ride at Allaire State Park and this year for the first time Vincenzo also made the trip. There are more pictures to come and I promise that I will get Yule, Christmas and the Pine Wood Derby up soon.

You can't really see it here but there was fake snow which I believe Sam was trying to catch on his tongue.

Santa actually comes out of the chimney and waves a magic wand that lights up the whole park at dusk. Here he is lighting the park.
