Vacation part 2 and 3

I'm sorry it has taken me so long to post the other parts of our trip. School  has started and so that means I am running every second of every day. Here are the pictures from Salisbury NC and Virginia Beach VA.

Playing guitar hero with Great Uncle Joe

Grandma Lucille was the first member of Jeff's family that I met. She made me feel like we were old friends in a matter of minutes. This is Jeff's favorite place in and it isn't too hard to understand why if you had the honor of knowing Grandma Lucille. Seraphina is named after her and we really wanted to make certain she at least had a chance to see the house she called home.

That is Seraphina and some kid on the carousel at Dan Nicholas Park.

There's Sam, Daddy, Uncle Joe, Poppa and Gram.

On the train

Heading into the Cheerwine tunnel. Jeff LOVES Cheerwine.

When Jeff was a child he fell out of one of these boats while trying to retrieve his hat. He never got the hat but fortunately his dad got him. This time around no one went into the water but the kids had a blast!

Pheenie and Poppa in the swan (her pick of course)

Sam and Daddy in the dragon (Sam's pick)

I think they were racing here.

Head cut outs again.

Jeff tells me his parents have a picture of he and his brother in front of this totem, now he has one of his children too.

This pig didn't care about us, it was dinner time and the pig knew it.

trying to pet the pig

More cut outs (this time we got Poppa in on the action)

Gem mining

Loot!

Jeff, Poppa, Aunt Bernice, Uncle Joe, Seraphina, Sam and Gram

I am being held against my will for this photo. Now you can see why I avoid the camera.

These kids love a hotel stay!

Putting lip gloss on Aunt Suzy

Jeff wanted a picture of the truck that had a lobster on it.

At Air Power Park with Aunt Suzy

Being silly with Daddy

There are 2 children at the base of this rocket

Holding up another tunnel

Looking for sea life

Sam is wearing my shirt here. One of my favorite parts of the trip and the only time we made it to the beach all summer.

We are in the gift shop on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. We are here ;)

Still no sea life

More cut outs

The kids learned how to blow bubbles on this trip. This was a big deal for them.

Our last stop in another state. We had dinner in Little Italy, who knew it was in Virginia.
