Sam and Pheenie are sitting at Sam's new desk. Sam is with his teacher Ms. Formeny. She seems very nice and we hear from our neighbor, Brianna that she is a good teacher. Bri had her in first grade and likes her a lot. Sam had me take this picture to email to his dad and I figured why not let everyone else see what his teacher looks like too. The only complaint Sam has so far is that she is an Eagles fan and his weekly homework is to report back on if they won or lost.
Seraphina is dancing, this has nothing to do with school but I love the picture and wanted to share it. Sam and Pheenie are ready to go out to the bus and are being silly.
Close up so you can see Sam's new haircut. This is Sam's crew, these kids have been a constant fixture in our backyard all summer and have helped Sam through a tough couple of month. There are two missing from the crew. One who lives here only in the summer and another who is in daycare (she is too young to go to school) but it's good to know that when he gets on that bus he is surrounded by kids who have his back if he needs them. I would have put pictures of the ice cream party on here but it got rained out about 15 minutes after we started on Sat. so when we eventually do it I will post them.
