Oh Christmas Tree!

Here are a few of the picture from the trimming of the tree! The kids had so much fun! The little poles they are playing with were their dads when he was a kid, and are his favorite decoration to pull out. The little Santa and the little elf go up to the top and then slide down the pole, the kids love them too as you can see. Seraphina is covered in hot chocolate in most of these, because she spilled a little. She is showing Sam the tree in the pointing picture (pointing in pictures is a Luchenta thing) The photo where they look like they are jumping is from when the tree first lit up. If you don't know this is a new tree for us, our old one could no longer handle the weight of all the ornaments so we had to get something bigger. This one is 7 feet tall and to the kids much more impressive. Jeff and I are sad to see our first tree outgrown, but we know it just means that our family has grown and that is a wonderful thing. The snow pics were from our first snow, we only got a little dusting, but it was enough to keep Seraphina from going outside. She swore she was "going to freeze like Han Solo" and refused to go outside. Daddy had to come get her.

We are really excited for the holidays and are so glad we have this way to share with all of you!
