When I was a kid we would go to Millbrook Village at least once a year. We have been taking the little ones every year since we moved here. Millbrook Village is a small town that has been preserved by a group of mostly volunteers. Once a year they have Millbrook days which shows how the people lived in the 1800-1900's and how the village was. The pictures are mostly of the scenery (yes it is in NJ) but I had to include the one of the kids in the school house. The monkey Seraphina is holding is Arod Posada and he goes with her everywhere she goes. (we were wondering last night how hard she will take it if the rumors about Arod leaving NY are true) He made it all the way there and back with minimal dirt added to his already dirty little body. Sam is being silly with his daddy, taking a grandpa stance in the picture. (My family members will recognize that pose from my dad) We had a blast and enjoy getting out in nature so much, the kids walked all day and still made it home awake listening to the Yanks only playoff win on the radio. Love to all!
